Israeli, Saudi Stocks Close Higher

The Israeli stock exchange, the TA 35, ended Sunday up 0.95% at a new six-month high. Meanwhile, the Saudi Arabia stock exchange, the Tadawul All Share, finished the day with a modest 0.01% gain.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange

Strong gains made in the Banking Financial and Insurance sectors in Israel led the way.

The best performing stocks of the TA 35 were Melisron (TASE:MLSR), which increased 4.60% or 740 points to trade at 16840 at the close. Matrix (TASE:MTRX) added 3.69% or 258 points to close the day at 7258 and the Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) rose 3.64% or 710 points to 20200 by the close of the trading day.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw 279 rising stocks, 129 declining stocks and 18 stocks staying unchanged.

The Saudi Stock Exchange

The Tadawul All Share closed Sunday’s trading with a modest 0.01% gain.

Sunday’s increase came despite declining stocks outnumbering advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 110 to 85. Meanwhile, 8 stocks closed unchanged.

The best performing stocks of the day on the Tadawul All Share were Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191), which jumped 10.00% or 4.90 points to close at 53.90. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) rose 9.93% or 1.46 points to close at 16.16 and Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) jumped 9.90% or 7.60 points to close at 84.40
